Atlanta Wedding Photography | Happy Anniversary Jo and Tae

Monday, October 10th, 2011

A year ago today I shot my very first wedding for my friends Jo and Tae. It was an honor to celebrate their special day with them. Happy Anniversary Jo and Tae! I wish you many more happy years to come! You can see more pictures of their day here and here.

Atlanta Wedding Photography | Aisha & Charles Little Garden Part I

Wednesday, September 28th, 2011

Aisha was radiating the whole day of her wedding. That is expected though when you are marrying the love of your life. A sense of calm and happiness was felt throughout that day. I felt honored to be present to capture the love of these two amazing individuals. The Little Garden wedding was filled with all the things you’d expect the wedding to be. Enjoy Part I of images from the day.

The all white bouquet, designed and created by Little Gardens, was gorgeous.

Charles sent Aisha a gift before their ceremony. She became very emotional.

We got word that the groom had arrived on site so Aisha went to the window to see Charles arriving.

Aisha you are stunning!

Aisha and Charles opted to not have a first look but we were still able to get most of the formals done before the ceremony.

The ceremony was very touching.

The Beautiful Aisha

Monday, September 12th, 2011

I had such a great time documenting Charles & Aisha’s wedding on Labor Day weekend. I’m still trying to pick out my favorites (there are so many!) so that I can blog them. In the meantime, enjoy another snippet from their wedding. In continuing with me beautiful brides “theme” I’ve decided to share a couple of portraits of Aisha on her wedding day.

Beautiful Brides

Monday, August 22nd, 2011

To me, there are very few things more beautiful than a bride on her wedding day. Their happiness radiates through their entire being. In that moment, when they are all dressed up, hair and makeup done, knowing they are about to marry the man of their dreams… their beauty shines through. I feel blessed that I am able to capture these women as they celebrate a tremendous milestone in their lives. To all the beautiful brides that I have met since I’ve started on this journey… congratulations, I wish you all the happines this world has to offer.

Atlanta Wedding Photography | Cristina and Danny

Monday, August 1st, 2011

“Are you nervous?” I asked as I began snapping pictures. “A little…” she admitted “but I’m more excited to be marrying my best friend!” From t
hen on Cristina could not keep a smile off her face, she was radiating with the glow of someone who was about to marry the love of her life. There was no lack of emotion on Cristina and Danny’s big day. Even I got teary eyed a few times. Thanks to Mose for letting tagalong as your second shooter for the day. I felt truly blessed to be there to witness their love.

I can certainly appreciate a girl who does her own wedding makeup. Kudos to you Cristina! :-)

The First Look

Cristina you are gorgeous!

Danny and Cristina are a good looking couple. They both turned on their inner “model.”

Quick makeup fix before the ceremony

Danny was very emotional when he saw Cristina walking down the aisle. This is proof that if you choose to have a first look it doesn’t take away from the emotion during the ceremony.

Their vows were very touching. Everyone was crying… including me.

You may kiss the bride!

Atlanta Wedding: Jo + Tae “I’ve Got the Sweetest Love…” Part 1

Thursday, November 18th, 2010

“Are you nervous?” I asked as she entered the venue on that lovely 10.10.10 day. “No at all, I’m just ready to marry him!” she replied as her face instantly lit up. With that, the mood of the day was set. The love was palpable on Treavon and Johniece’s wedding day and during the ceremony, there was not a dry eye in the house (including mine).

During the reception, as Robin Thicke’s “Sweetest Love” cascaded across the room, the newly minted Mr. & Mrs. shared their first dance. It seem as if they were in their own world and I felt privileged to be able to capture this special moment in their lives. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Elder. I hope your lives are filled with all the joy and happiness that you deserve.

Johniece’s gown came right off the runways of New York.

I’m a true girl, I love shoes! I know my brides can appreciate a good shoe shot.

Happy faces once she stepped into her gown.

Everyone thought the bride looked gorgeous in her dress and I must say that I agree.

Rawr!

I must say I really like this shot of the groom and his groomsmen!

The Gala provided an intimate and romantic setting for the ceremony.

The flower girl was so adorable. She paused every two steps to smile for pictures.

The bride’s mother got emotional during the ceremony.

Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Elder!

Stay tuned for part two!
